Gavin Andresen	6a4b97e863	Testing infrastructure: mocktime fixes ... New, undocumented-on-purpose -mocktime=timestamp command-line argument to startup with mocktime set. Needed because time-related blockchain sanity checks are done on startup, before a test has a chance to make a setmocktime RPC call. And changed the setmocktime RPC call so calling it will not result in currently connected peers being disconnected due to inactivity timeouts.	10 years ago

The changes can be seen here: https://github.com/theuni/osslsigncode/commits/attach-signature There's a pull-request open upstream for the changes: https://sourceforge.net/p/osslsigncode/osslsigncode/merge-requests/3/ This work has been back-ported to the stable 1.7.1 release of osslsigncode, so that a smaller patch can be reviewed.	10 years ago

This means that it is unnecessary to lock out other threads while computing statistics, and neither to hold cs_main for the whole time. Let the thread run free.	10 years ago

The default remains unchanged. This is a gentler form of #6260, in which I went a bit overboard by removing the alert system completely.
