AbstractBufferedIndex.java replaced _all_ size() == 0 with isEmpty() and all size() > 0 with !isEmpty(). The isEmpty() method is much faster in some cases, especially when used to access badly balanced hashtables where an size() operation becomes a large iteration. 15 years ago
