From 9e9056cd1a05e5868025553d2a8cb3e47cf45045 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: "Wladimir J. van der Laan" Date: Sat, 14 Dec 2013 13:51:11 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] Remove -logtodebugger `-logtodebugger` is a strange, obscure, WIN32-only (mostly MSVC) thing. Let's clean up the options a bit get rid of it. test_bitcoin was using fLogToDebugger as a way to prevent logging to debug.log. For this, add a boolean (not exposed as option) fLogToDebugLog that defaults to true and is disabled in the tests. --- src/init.cpp | 5 ----- src/test/test_bitcoin.cpp | 2 +- src/util.cpp | 27 ++------------------------- src/util.h | 2 +- 4 files changed, 4 insertions(+), 32 deletions(-) diff --git a/src/init.cpp b/src/init.cpp index 40dd2d04cd2..a4504cf65e6 100644 --- a/src/init.cpp +++ b/src/init.cpp @@ -245,10 +245,6 @@ std::string HelpMessage(HelpMessageMode hmm) strUsage += " -printtoconsole " + _("Send trace/debug info to console instead of debug.log file") + "\n"; strUsage += " -regtest " + _("Enter regression test mode, which uses a special chain in which blocks can be " "solved instantly.
